The TM6® can replace numerous kitchen appliances such as blender, food processor, bread maker, rice cooker, and more, streamlining your kitchen and saving you counter space. You don’t need to wash the veggies before your peel because they’ll be effortlessly scrubbed and peeled at the same time! If you're serious about your Thermomix, then the redesigned Blade Cover and Peeler is a worthy accessory for many time-heavy cooking chores, such as slow cooking, sous vide and peeling potatoes. While not all tasks we tried had outstanding results, it does bring welcome functionality to what's already a very expensive appliance. Like the Thermomix itself, there's a bit of a learning curve if you're only used to using a regular food processor for your food prep, but the instructions are comprehensive and include detailed safety information to help you get the most out of your machine.

Integrated with a peeler function, the Blade Cover & Peeler will take away more of the manual preparation, freeing up your time so you can turn your attention to other things. The peeling function does not work in the Thermomix Friend as it has the speed only until Level 2 while Thermomix Blade Cover & Peeler requires Level 2.5 to 4 except for Sous-vide. And for a manual usage, it can be used with speed 4 (for both TM6 & TM5). Place the Blade Cover and Peeler over the blade.
