About this deal

The initial blast of this smoky-resinous elemi (not to mention the slightly metallic freshness from the bergamot too! I have sprayed this frag on skin and on clothes, staying mostly in an airconditioned environment, but it just does not satisfy. While VITAMINSUK strives to ensure the accuracy of its product images and information, some manufacturing changes to packaging and/or ingredients may be pending update on our site.

That would be my biggest complaint about armafs version, is that the bottle is pure black and you can never gage how much you have left. You'll surely get complements from considering there's what feels like 9999999 copies of Aventus so they must be doing something right. Probably one of my top colognes as rated by her as she described it as her favorite multiple times and she's not afraid to give me her honest opinion as sometimes she seems genuinely pissed at what I'm wearing. I did have a test strip of the latest Aventus Absolu and it lasted an easy 12 hours on the paper - no observations for skin or clothing.New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . you feel it radiating and most importantly, the ultimate experience is smoother feels more expensive and better.

It stays fairly linear from opening to the dry down but with a gradual fading of the punchy citrus and a subtle emergence of hints of the wood and patchouli notes. It gets me positive attention and I too wear this casually and save my aventus for special occasions. Curious to see what opinions are of Al Haramain's Intense version of L'Aventure which dropped last year. Though it carries the same overall scent profile (for the most part, at least), it's nowhere near as potent or smokey as it used to be where a couple of sprays could easily fill up a decent sized room and last for hours and hours. Club De Nuit Intense was also much more prominent on the birch and smokey nuances but always lacked on the vanilla sweet nuances Creed Aventus has that I am in love with.I wanted to pick up the fragrance because I have heard great things about it and after owning it the fragrance does smell good, but as I said above this is the worst-performing fragrance I have ever bought.

I find L’Aventure leaning more orange scented and CDNIM more dry/dirty lemon scented (at the opening). The fragrance opens with top notes of juicy bergamot, zesty lemon and sweet tangy pineapple giving it that .

I wouldn’t even really say CDNIM is better or L’aventure is better, they both smell like Aventus, just different batches of Aventus and it really boils down to what you like. If I had to sum this juice up in one word it would be “refined”, but I like the dirty Smokey pineapple that older formulations of Creed used to produce. Also for the ones who say CDNIM has a “harsh” opening, you clearly don’t have the France version, because mine opens up smooth and perfectly. In my opinion, it is much closer to MODERN batches of aventus than CDNIM, but pre-2016 batches are a totally different story. Evoking the sombre sound of eternity this spicy oriental fragrance is a dedication to the rose infused with angelica.
