note: i should also add that 3 different people now have commented on this perfume (randomly without me mentioning it), each saying it smells so good and that it smells like vanilla (without me asking what the notes smell like or anything, so it must have really stood out as a vanilla type of fragrance). Side by side they are very similar but Junoon Noir is a bit sweeter and has much better projection and longevity on my skin (woohoo! I don't think people who love trendy, heavy, fruity, extremely sweet, and/or gourmand fragrances would like this much. The top notes of Kumquat and Lime provide a refreshing burst of citrus, while the heart notes of Orris, Violet, Jasmine, and Lily-of-the-Valley add a delicate floral touch. When I say this is in the family of NR Poudree and MontBlanc Signature, I mean it isn’t the same but all 3 create a similar picture in my head.

Al Haramain Junoon Noir is a fragrance that embodies sophistication and allure, making it perfect for any occasion. I just put mine back in the box and in the closet, where I always have the Air Conditioning running in the Summertime.Put the fragrance back in the box - you'll want to keep away from light - and also keep in a cool place. I haven´t smelled Dama Bianca yet and I am not sure if I should get it now, when I have Junoon Noir, as I really like Junoon Noir and I heard there are issues with the longevity/sillage of Dama Bianca, while JN lasts and has very nice sillage. Unique scent profile ( well, apart from Dama Bianca according to comparisons I have read) I spent an entire day trying to figure out what it reminds me of and the closest I got was Sol de Janeiro's Bom Dia cream + Korres Cucumber and Bamboo body lotion mixed! On me, I do not get much jasmine at all, however it is extremely violet forward, and almost smells like French lilac - which I was pleasantly surprised by as the presentation of purple flowers are very different, and quite unpredictable from white florals. The reviewer below me is right - it smells like a fluffy, cloud of citrus wrapped around vanilla and violet.

I get no fruits or any of the other notes all I smell is powdery violets then it dries down to violet with creamy woods. People saying that they smell burnt rubber - it sounds like the fragrance may need to macerate for a bit.Out of the gate Dama Bianca had superior performance, but as time goes on, Junoon Noir is developing a beast mode performance. I've realized lately that i really don't need all those tens of perfumes i own so i decided to let lots of them go.
